From the Captain’s Deck
It is the season to be merry for a number of reasons – not least of which is that year-end is a time to hang up your hat, recharge your batteries and take time out to not only recover from the stresses and strains of a challenging year, but also to reflect on the many possibilities for the next one!
If you have been so caught up in the “silly side” of the festive season that you have not had time to book that all important year-end break, give us a shout as we still have a few slots available for a cruise of a lifetime on the decks of our beautiful Shayamanzi houseboats.
If you are looking for something completely different as a start to the New Year, why not join us for a cruise on the beautiful Lake Jozini – undoubtedly one of the few undiscovered leisure experiences in KwaZulu-Natal.
The two special things about taking time out with Shayamanzi is that you have time to sit back and relax on the deck and to try your hand at something new. Did you know that just relaxing within a peaceful water setting has been scientifically proven to not only physically relax and replenish you but also to heighten your motivation and creativity? What better way to plan for 2016!
A new year is also a great time to try at least one thing that you have never done before. How about some tiger fishing? We are currently in prime tiger fishing season (September to April) which makes it the perfect time to try out fishing for the very first time! If you are one of those who have always wondered what lights up the eyes of your nearest and dearest fisher folk – why not give it a try and find out?
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
On that note, we would like to wish all our guests – past, present and future – a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Here is to a 2015 filled with rejuvenating cruises, beautiful game sightings – and the biggest fish that anyone could wish for!
